Baseball is back in Bloomington-Normal! Players from all over the country are coming together on the same field with the hopes of getting more eyes to witness their talents. Although we are only a few games into the season, these CornBelters have already become fan favorites at the Corn Crib.

#14 Dylan Coty – OF

Everybody knew the Missouri Western State outfielder was an exciting player, but few knew he’d be this exciting. Coty has been a huge producer for the CornBelters on all fronts. Through three games he is sporting a .400 batting average and four stolen bases. On top of creating havoc on the basepaths, he cleared the wall to the opposite field for his first long ball of the year on Thursday night against the Lumberkings. His display of hustle, aggressiveness, and heart have made him highly regarded by the CornBelters faithful, and they are anxious to see what Coty has in store this season.

#35 Will O’Gorman – LHP

The southpaw made his season debut at the Corn Crib Thursday night in dominant fashion. O’Gorman tossed four innings while striking out eight of the fifteen batters he faced and giving up just two hits to a talented Clinton lineup. Fans got a taste for O’Gorman and are wanting more! They are hoping that this outing is just a taste of what is to come from the young left-hander.

The CornBelters travel to Quincy Friday night and then spend the weekend at the Corn Crib facing Lafayette and Burlington. Who will be the next Cornbelter to break out? Come out to the Corn Crib to find out!
