Along with the debut of the 2023 CornBelters schedule, the Corn Crib is proud to announce complete game dates for the 2023 Kernels Collegiate League season!

The league will be commencing its fourth year of operation next summer, bringing fans an exciting twist on the summer baseball experience that we all love. Each game date, with the exception of the KCL Championship on July 15th, will be a doubleheader featuring all four teams. Next year’s teams will begin play with an all-KCL opening weekend starting on Thursday, May 25th. As in previous years, the KCL will not only be a constant at the Corn Crib, but will be featured prominently on Friday and Saturday theme nights throughout the summer (for more information on those themes, stay tuned for the launch of our 2023 Promotional Schedule…).

Nothing goes with a sunny summer afternoon quite like baseball, and the KCL is no exception! The league will play matchups on Sunday during every week of the schedule, treating fans to a series of both day and night games at the ballpark. Due to popular demand, the playoff semifinal structure first implemented in 2022 will return this season, meaning Friday, July 14th will be a playoff doubleheader to determine this year’s KCL Championship game participants. The Championship game on July 15th will be a single, 9-inning game with no Home Run Derby to crown the 2023 KCL champions.

Whether you’re ready to root on your favorite KCL team or want to check out what the league is all about, these 31 dates of baseball will be right for you. We’ll see you at the Corn Crib next summer!
