This summer’s loaded slate of baseball begins on Thursday, May 25th with an all-KCL opening week. Fans will have a chance to celebrate the return of summer baseball by being treated to doubleheaders for four straight days, including the return of Sunday afternoon games on May 28th. The CornBelters will make their anticipated home debut at the Corn Crib on Friday, June 2nd, the first of 7 home games the team will play on Fridays and Saturdays.
The KCL schedule will very closely follow last year’s format, with the season concluding in mid-July. Thursday, July 13th will be the final regular season matchup, followed by a playoff semifinal doubleheader on July 14th and the single-game KCL Championship taking place on Saturday, July 15th. As always, the Corn Crib is proud to be the home of each and every Kernels Collegiate League game in the 2023 season.
While the first half of the season is action-packed with KCL matchups, the month of July will more heavily feature the CornBelters. The Prospect League club will finish the season with 11 games in 19 days as they pursue a third-straight playoff berth. The run will likely be pivotal to the team’s success, as the support of the Corn Crib faithful could provide a huge momentum swing in the stretch run.
Ticket packages will be on sale soon so that you can join your favorite team(s) at the Corn Crib all season long. Stay tuned for launch of the 2023 Promotional Schedule with a full breakdown of every theme night on deck for the year!
